From the painter Richard Hemberger (1909 - 1943), also born in Eberbach, who was also trained at the Karlsruhe Art Academy and fell in Russia during the Second World War, is the gouache depicting a tower of the town fortifications, the "Blue Hat". Incidentally, the sgraffiti on the hotel "Zum Karpfen", which dominates the old market square next to the museum, and the paintings on the façade of the inn "Zum Krabbenstein" in nearby Obere Badstrasse are by him.
