Next, enter the room where you can watch films on a wide variety of topics relating to Eberbach and its history. Please contact the museum staff when you have made your choice from the list of films displayed. In the room's large display case you will see a collection of rocks collected by quarry owner Hans Klinge (1930 - 2014). The collection contains not only rock samples and rare pieces from the quarries in the Eberbach area, but also comparisons from other regions.
Here you can also see the copy of the footprint of the so-called "red crocodile", which was given the Latin name "Erythrosuchus". It lived about 250 million years ago. The fossilised footprint was discovered and recovered at Scheuerberg in Eberbach in 1954.
